Study Shines Light on Drug Presence at New Jersey Schools

According to a WalletHub study of drug use across the country, New Jersey has the highest percentage of teenagers who have been offered, sold or given an illegal drug on school property.

Jersey’s number – 30.70 percent – is three times higher than in Iowa, which has the lowest percentage of teenagers offered, sold or given an illegal drug on school property.

However, the state was only ranked 35th in overall drug use. Pennsylvania was 32nd, New York 13th and Delaware fourth.
