South Jersey just faced its first shark attack of the season. But it wasn’t in the ocean, and it wasn’t blood that drew them there – it was lettuce. Moorestown’s Jared Cannon struck a deal with sharks Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban on ABC’s “Shark Tank” to expand his business, Simply Good Jars.
As a professional chef, Cannon knows the importance of good, healthy foods – and how quickly they go bad. That vexing problem led to his creation of Simply Good Jars, which are filled with pre-made salads kept fresh without preservatives in recyclable and returnable jars. Plus, for every jar returned to the company, they reuse it to donate a meal to someone in need.
