Margate’s plan for a Watershed Management program has earned the town a $20,000 grant from Sustainable Jersey, an organization that supports communities in pursuit of sustainability programs.

The Watershed Management Plan will be a collaboration between Margate, Ventnor and Longport. It is expected to help Margate’s Downbeach area become resilient to future storm events and contribute to lowering flood insurance costs for residents.
