The Cape May County Zoo welcomed a big bundle of joy when its giraffe Joanie gave birth to a 150-pound, 6-foot baby boy late last year.

The baby, who doesn’t have a name yet, is the third calf born to Joanie. Because of the chilly temperatures, the baby will be hunkering down all winter with his mother, but zoo visitors will be able to get a glimpse of him this spring.
