We all know Dr. Seuss brought his zany creations to life through rhymes, but did you know he also created them with real animal beaks, antlers, turtle shells and other material?

The author named his sculpture collection Collection of Unorthodox Taxidermy, and for the first time, you can see them all in one place at Ocean Galleries in Stone Harbor.

From June 16 to 19, the collection will be on display in the “If I Ran the Zoo” exhibit. Two receptions featuring special lectures by Dr. Seuss expert Jeff Schuffman will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
