The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) is offering two free fishing days this year – and one is this weekend.

On June 10, people are allowed to fish in the state’s public waters without a license or trout stamp. The free day is being held during National Fishing and Boating week.

Other fishing regulations, such as size and catch limits, are still in effect on the day. You can find the rules here.

The next free fishing day will be held on October 21. For more information, visit the NJDEP’s website.
