The Camden Shipyard & Maritime Museum is offering artists lodging in exchange for work during its Waterfront South Artist Residency program.

During the 10-week residency, artists will live rent-free in the museum’s former rectory – set to be renovated by September – while they complete eight hours of work per week.

Residents will work on projects around the community and will have a chance to display their work in galleries at Camden FireWorks, located across from the museum. The program begins on October 10, and applications are being accepted now.

To apply for the residency, email camdenshipyardmuseum@gmail.com.
