Going to the shore is really such a hassle. It takes at least an hour to get there. There’s always traffic. There’s never a convenient place to park. Sand gets EVERYWHERE! Snacks are expensive. The bathrooms are a mess… • That said, like most things in life, the reward is so very worth the effort. I’ve never had a bad day at the beach. I love the feeling of sand between my toes. The views are 😍. The people watching is 🤣. And my favorite part is the humbling reminder that despite our natural tendency to be self-centered and think the world revolves around us, we are so very small and play just an itty bitty, teeny tiny part in this world. • Being in nature makes me feel so alive and reminds me to live a life filled with purpose. We were each placed on this earth for a reason and have the opportunity to make an impact and leave a lasting legacy. Which begs the questions: What are you doing to make the most of your time here? How do you want people to remember you? And, what are you doing to make that happen? • I decided a long time ago that I want to be the person who goes for it despite the challenges, despite the effort required and despite the possibility of failure. I want to be a person that doesn’t sweat the small stuff and chooses to find the best in every situation, especially the terrible ones. And, I want to be the person that inspires others to dream crazy big and believe in themself enough to go after those goals with fierce determination. • I do my best to be that person every day. I’m not always successful, but each new day is an opportunity to try again. And for that, I am so grateful. ❤️
