Glassboro Community Garden

Open to everyone, the Glassboro Community Garden hosts 26 plots for purchase and an additional 5 “Able Garden” plots, which are reserved for seniors and disabled individuals. The Able Garden plots are all raised beds for easy access. And if you’re not up for handling your own plot, volunteers are welcome to join the volunteer garden committee to help plan educational and social events throughout the year. Kickstart your gardening season with locally-grown plants, including annuals, herbs, houseplants, perennials and vegetables at Camden County Sustainability Campus’ annual plant sale. A whole acre of Pennington Park is the perfect place to grow your green thumb. With plots for rent, including “Able Plots” designated for seniors and individuals with disabilities, the Pennington Park community garden is available for residents, groups, classrooms and organizations. Barclay Farmstead Plant-A-Patch

Cherry Hill

Pick a patch to plant this year’s crops at Barclay Farmstead. While the 2024 season is full, the organization is accepting names for its waitlist, and if any gardeners don’t start their garden by May 15, it will be forfeited. Greater Woodbury Garden Club

Join fellow gardeners for exhibits, meetings, garden visits, a June plant exchange and May Day flower baskets. Whether you’re looking to trade in some excess seeds for a new variety or want to pick up a new plant to try, the Pennsauken Community Garden Seed & Seedling Exchange is the place to be.
