A Love Letter to South Jersey in the Winter

Dear South Jersey,

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

It may be freezing,

But we still love you.

And the reasons are endless…

We get the chance to try new restaurants with delicious food while staying warm inside

The temps may be dropping, but a bundled up walk on the (free) beach is still a vibe

There are plenty of coffee shops to cozy up for an afternoon

We can visit tropical temperatures inside Adventure Aquarium

Our libraries aren’t just bursting with books, but fun and educational events to try out

Speaking of learning, South Jersey’s museums are one-of-a-kind, like the Harriet Tubman Museum in Cape May

Staying warm while shopping small has never been easier (shout out to Main Streets like Haddonfield, Collingswood and Medford – just to name a few)

Keeping dry January going is actually fun with N/A bars like Mercantile 1888

South Jersey’s got talent! And you can see it live at a number of local theater performances

Gazing at stars in a Planetarium can be romantic and fun

There’s so much history right in our backyard, it’s the perfect place to celebrate the country’s 250th

Happy hour happens year round around here

Just because nature hibernates, doesn’t mean South Jersey does

If you visit Cape May, you can hop aboard a trolley to ride in style around the historic town

Over in Mantua, there’s a one-of-a-kind dinosaur museum and fossil park

Here, we look out for our neighbors

We get to sip local wines that win awards…as in, beat out Napa Valley wines to win awards

Love,
