18 native flowers to plant to attract pollinators

Say it with me: bees are our friends. And so are the many other South Jersey pollinators, like birds, butterflies and beneficial insects, who put in the hard work to help our plants grow to be healthy and delicious.

But if you want them to come help out in the garden, it’s a good idea to plant some flowers that they’ll especially love. But not just plants that attract pollinators. If you want to be especially effective, choose plants that are native to New Jersey – that way the local wildlife will love your garden all season long.

Here’s a list of the New Jersey native flowers to add to your garden this season to attract pollinators.
