Bancroft is looking to hire for more than 400 full-time and part-time positions in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

The services and employees at Bancroft – providers of support for people with autism, intellectual & developmental disabilities and brain injuries – are considered essential and continue to operate 24/7 through the pandemic.

“These are not temporary positions,” says Jonathan Lutz, Bancroft director of talent acquisition. “We are looking for caring, compassionate candidates who have found themselves out of work and are ready to explore a new career where they can truly make an impact.”

While experience is not required – Bancroft provides extensive training to new employees – the organization emphasizes patience and compassion as essential qualities for candidates.

The majority of open positions are in direct support, providing one-on-one care to men, women and children with disabilities who live in Bancroft residential programs. A variety of shifts are available and benefits include tuition repayment and leadership training, among other things.

To ensure the health and safety of applicants, Bancroft is conducting phone interviews and virtual screenings. Candidates are encouraged to apply online here.
