Wine lovers, rejoice! There are so many wonderful ways to enjoy a nice glass of vino in a South Jersey town near you.

1. Go on a tasting tour with friends
   

   With so many awesome local wineries, there’s plenty of places to stroll the vineyards, enjoy a tour and a tasting session. Plus, you can try this cool “Passport” program through the Garden State Wine Growers Association that has some awesome perks. Check out our lists of wineries around SJ.

2. Sip by the fire
   

   Enjoy your glass of wine by the fire at Willow Creek Winery in West Cape May which holds “Fire Pit Fridays” all summer long.

3. Get your grub on
   

   Enjoy a glass – and some delicious snacks during White Horse Winery’s Food Truck Friday events happening all summer long. On July 27, enjoy a gooey gourmet grilled cheese from the Grilled Cheez Factory Food Truck, a tall glass of wine and live music by The Grouser Girls from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.

4. Cross the finish line
   

   Lace up your sneakers for the Stomp the Grapes 5K at Renault Winery in Egg Harbor City on. Then, celebrate with your fellow runners with a nice complimentary glass of wine, a souvenir wine glass and an awesome lunch.

5. Celebrate your Irish side
   

   You won’t want to miss Irish Fest Weekend at Laurita Winery in New Egypt. Aug. 4 to 5. Cost is $6, but those under 21 are free. They’ll be plenty of Irish music, displays and more.

6. Enjoy a fresh catch
   

   Enjoy fresh seafood paired with the perfect glass of wine at Bellview Winery’s annual Seafood Festival Aug. 11 & 12. Wine tasting and yummy sangria will be available outside, with chilled bottles inside for purchase. Then get dancing to some live music.

7. Get crackin’
   

   Get your fingers nice and buttery at the Washington Inn on Aug. 12 as Cape May Winery plans to host a lobster bake – complete with cheese and fruit plates, whole lobsters, yummy mussels and clams with, of course, wine.

8. Hit up a festival
   

   Grab your tickets and your besties for the Wine Down Summer Riverwinds. This festival in West Deptford, which runs Aug. 26 and 27, will feature dozens of wineries, artisans, crafters and eateries for a weekend of fun in the sun. Then, rest up, because the William Heritage Wine & Beer Fest kicks off on Sept. 14 & 15 in Mullica Hill, then Wine Fest NJ 2018 is coming to Valenzano Winery in Shamong on Sept. 15 & 16. Consider your weekends booked!

9. Stretch it out
   

   Unwind outdoors during DiBella Winery’s hour-long yoga in the vineyards. This class in Woolwich Township will leave you feeling extra relaxed (especially after your favorite glass of DiBella wine). What better way to say “namaste”?

10. Get on the dance floor
    

    Mark your calendar for the Grooves & Grapes Music, Food & Wine Festival in Mays Landing on Sept. 9. This pairing of smooth jazz, classic rock, and funky tunes, with award-winning wines, will send you to your happy place (and, probably, the dance floor) in no time.

11. Sip in the sand
    

    Savor the last days of summer on the Seaside Heights beach with wine in your hand, and your toes in the sand. The all-day festival on Sept. 9 will boast dozens of wineries and delicious grub.

12. Channel your inner pirate
    

    Grab your best mateys and head to Valenzano Winery Sept. 22 to 23 for their annual pirate weekend. So, put on your best eye patch and bandana, because the winery is offering 20 percent off the winery’s “booty” for those who play the part.
