Lighthouse Tree Lighting
December 7

Enjoy an evening of music, refreshments and free lighthouse tours during the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse’s Christmas Tree lighting event. The free even runs from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. For more information, visit wildwoodsnj.com.

Breakfast with Santa
December 8

Board the battleship to see the big man in red while enjoying a hot breakfast. Once families have eaten and met Santa, everyone is invited to take a Fire Power tour. LEAP Academy Gala
December 8

Break out the tux and head to the Rittenhouse in Philly for a glamorous evening of live music, fine dining and dancing to fund scholarships for students of LEAP Academy Charter School in Camden. This black-tie affair, from 6:30 to 12 am, is hosted by the Community Leadership Center of Rutgers University-Camden. Single admission is $500. For more information, visit camden.rutgers.edu.

Holiday Open House
December 8

Visit Paulsdale for the holidays to enjoy refreshments, shop for gifts and see the Alice Paul: In Pursuit of Ordinary Equality exhibit while taking in the decorations provided by the Mount Laurel Garden Club. The free event runs from 2 to 4 pm. For more information, visit alicepaul.org.

Laser Nutcracker
December 8

Edelman Planetarium’s laser light shows use our new state of the art projection system from Laser Fantasy to treat your eyes and ears to an experience of your favorite bands like none other including Mannheim Steamroller, Andy Williams, Bobby Helms, Ronnie Spector and Darlene Love and more. Festival of Laser Lights
December 9

Celebrate Chanukah at the Katz JCC with a stellar display of laser lights, traditional treats and science. The celebration runs from 4 to 5 pm and costs $30 per family for JCC members or $36 per family for non-members. For more information, visit katzjcc.org.

Moorestown Theater Company’s “A Christmas Story, The Musical”
December 7, 8, 9

Get into the Christmas spirit as the non-profit, award-winning Moorestown Theater Company presents the Burlington County Community Theater premiere of the musical version of the classic Christmas movie, “A Christmas Story, The Musical”. Channel 6abc’s Rick Williams and MTC’s Producing Artistic Director Mark Morgan (sharing the role of ‘The Narrator’) lead a 50-member all-ages cast at Moorestown High School.
