The Philadelphia Flyers aren’t only about pucks, pads and ice. This Sunday, they’ll hang up their gear for a cause at the 40th Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival.
With all the awe of a spectacular carnival brought inside the Wells Fargo Complex – there’s a 60-ft Ferris Wheel and Carousel – the event allows fans to get up-close-and-personal with the Flyers. You can even take a shot on goal. And if you’re not feeling up to the challenge, players and alumni will be signing autographs and taking pictures.
Proceeds of the event will benefit Flyers Charities, an organization supporting non-profits working throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. For ticket information, visit the carnival website.
