The Best South Jersey Sledding Spots

Now that winter is officially here, it’s time to celebrate with a little sledding! We’ve rounded up South Jersey sledding spots where you and the kids can hit the slopes and enjoy the fresh snow. Don’t forget your mittens!

 

Camden County

Blueberry Hill, Gibbsboro
With its central location and hilly terrain, Gibbsboro’s Blueberry Hill is a perfect location to hit the slopes. The trail is located at 178 Berlin Road.

 

Bunker Hill Road, Cherry Hill
In-the-know locals will tell you this Cherry Hill spot has some of the best sledding real estate in the area. Check out the area near 1200 Bunker Hill Road, as well as the park that’s nearby.

 

Haddon Lake Park, Haddon Heights
In addition to nearly 75 gorgeous acres, Haddon Lake Park offers some pretty great sledding opportunities. The park is located at 13th Avenue.

 

Frank Donio Memorial Park, Sicklerville
A 1.5-mile walking trail loops through some hilly terrain that provides good sledding when there’s snow on the ground. Stop by at Chews Landing Road – and bring some hot chocolate, too.

 

 

Burlington County

Stokes Hill, Moorestown
This fabulous sledding spot isn’t exactly a secret, but it’s definitely a great time. Grab your gear and head to this spot right in downtown Moorestown at 226 East Main Street.

 

Laurel Acres Park, Mount Laurel
Don’t forget this spot inside the township park – it’s a designated sledding hill, which means it’s definitely a good one. The park is located at 1405 South Church Street.

 

Mill Creek Park, Willingboro
This pretty, 14-acre park offers nice hills for the kids and a pavilion area where you can take a breather from all the fun or have a quick lunch. Check it out at 320 Beverly Rancocas Road.

 

 

The Shore & Beyond

Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve
Enjoy this massive, 440-acre park and its delightfully hilly terrain. Enter through the parking lot at 318 Zion Road.

 

Fort Mott State Park, Pennsville
A large hill provides a huge sledding area guaranteed to delight, and there’s even stairs back up to the top for that one last run. Visit for yourself at 454 Fort Mott Road.
