Fall Migration Festival

Head to The Wetlands Institute in Stone Harbor to witness the fall migration of thousands of birds as they pass through the Cape May Peninsula. The festival runs from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm and includes guided nature walks, a live monarch butterfly presentation, a special terrapin turtle release, guided boat and kayak tours, and more. Touch a Truck

Get up close to your kids’ favorite trucks at Moorestown Mall during Oaks Integrated Care’s Touch a Truck event. The whole family can enjoy police trucks, street sweepers, face painting, music and more activities from 10 am to 3 pm. The event is free for kids and $5 for adults. Woofstock
September 23
One of the biggest pet festivals in SJ returns to Connolly Park in Voorhees from 11 am to 4 pm. The family- and pet-friendly festival will feature dog demonstrations, live music, food trucks and vendors. Admission is $2, with proceeds benefitting Voorhees Animal Orphanage. South Jersey Wine & Food Festival
September 23 & 24
Toast the arrival of fall at the South Jersey Wine & Food Festival at Lake Lenape in Mays Landing. Sample food and more than 20 local wines while enjoying live music, games and more from noon to 5 pm. General admission is $30 in advance or $40 at the door; designated driver admission is $10. Camden County Fair

Enjoy games, face painting, a petting zoo, food trucks, pony rides, a beer and wine garden, and more at the Camden County Fair at Camden County College in Blackwood. Wine Festival

Enjoy wines, craft brews, food vendors, live music and more from 1 to 5 pm both days at Heritage Vineyards in Mullica Hill.
