Augusta Tour

In October 1777, the British vessel Augusta exploded in the Delaware River during the American Revolutionary War, just one day after the Battle of Red Bank. From noon to 4 pm, you can take a walking tour of Red Bank Battlefield to see traces of the vessel and to learn about the impact the battle had on our founding fathers.
