Wildwoods International Kite Festival

The largest kite festival in North America is right here on the coast of South Jersey. You can see kites of all shapes and sizes at Wildwoods International Kite Festival – there’s even an illuminated kite event on Friday night. The free weekend is packed with stunts, workshops and competitions at the Wildwoods Convention Center and kicks off at noon with the “Unlocking of the Ocean” ceremony on Friday. Memorial Beach Challenge

Race down the beach over walls and under nets at this seaside obstacle course in Ocean City. Registration takes place from 2 to 10 pm on Friday and 6 to 7:30 am on Saturday, and all proceeds benefit The 31Heroes Project. Walk a mile of art galleries, craft booths and so much more during Collingswood’s 37th Annual May Fair. Visit the “KidZone” for pony rides and carnival games, or take in a show at one of the live music stages. But don’t forget to try the food vendors and browse the antique and classic auto show.
