Five Things to Do in South Jersey This Weekend: December 15

From history to Christmas carols, there are plenty of ways to pack your weekend with some South Jersey fun for the whole family!


“A Christmas Carol”

Watch the classic Christmas tale come to life with music during the Ocean City Theatre Company’s production of the Broadway musical “A Christmas Carol.” Showtimes are Friday at 7:30 pm and Saturday at 2 and 7:30 pm. Jingle All the Way 5K

December 16
Bundle up for this 5K along a scenic, decorated route in Medford Lakes. The race starts at 8:30 am, and all participants will receive a pair of jingle bells to tie to their shoes. Battleship Author Presentation

December 16
Author Ken Brown will visit Battleship New Jersey for a presentation on his book “U-Boat Assault on America.” Brown will explain how the U.S. Navy responded to Germany’s use of U-Boats during WWII in the Officers’ Wardroom. Pine Barrens Bus Tour

December 16
Join Pinelands Adventures on a driving tour to visit places described in John McPhee’s landmark book “The Pine Barrens.” The 5-hour tour will make stops at places like Apple Pie Hill, Hog Wallow and the Forks on the Mullica. “The Nutcracker”

December 16 & 17
