Teens are being asked to illustrate a moment when they felt supported by parents or loved ones for a state media contest. The Department of Human Services Division of Family Development is hosting the contest to celebrate and support families.
The contest is open to all middle and high school students, and entries are due on April 5th.
Contest categories include hand-painted and hand-drawn artwork, written word, computer-generated and/or digital artwork. First, second and third place winners will be selected across each category for middle and high school students. All winners will have their projects featured in the 2020 calendar for the Office of Child Support which will be displayed in the N.J. State House in Trenton. Winners will also be presented with a prize package during an award ceremony in May.
