Katz JCC
Fill your days with everything from trampolines to ice skating with Katz JCC’s Winter Break Vacation Days. The trips run from 10 am to 4 pm each day and are open to children between the ages of 5 and 12. Cost is $65 per day for JCC members or $75 per day for guests. Learn Something New

Just because school’s out doesn’t mean the learning has to stop. From art class to swim lessons, keep the fun going with these mommy (or daddy) and me classes.

Visit the Animals

Cape May County Park & Zoo
707 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House
609-465-5271
Bundle up to get up close with the animals at the Cape May County Park & Zoo. Kids ages 5 to 9 can attend the zoo’s three-day winter zoo camp Dec. 27-29, where they’ll experience up-close encounters, hands-on activities and fun games. Or, stop by on your own to get a look at lions, tigers and lots of other animals, without the summer crowds. For more information, visit the website.

Check Your Local Library

Libraries all around South Jersey put on programs every day to keep your little ones entertained. Whether it’s story time or a craft hour (sometimes characters visit too!), there’s something for the whole family at your local library. The Cherry Hill library will have a free toddler dance party on Dec. 29, and Burlington County Library branches are hosting winter break events like marshmallow snowman crafting, a holiday LEGO challenge and DIY teen crafts throughout the county.

South Jersey has plenty of dog parks to explore with your four-legged friends. Take the kids and your pup to one of these parks for a day of outdoor fun.
