There’s still plenty of time to soak up summer in South Jersey! Check out one of these fun activities to make the most of the season.

Let the Kids Go Wild

Kids will have a blast exploring animals and nature during Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge’s Discovery by the Day. Each day-long session covers a different subject, and you can choose which day you visit.

An Artistic Happy Hour

On Saturdays, Grounds For Sculpture serves cocktails with a side of art. Visit the Acer Courtyard for brews, wines and cocktails from 4 to 6 pm. Plus, try one of the chef’s special small plates to accompany your drinks.

Stunning Sites at Great Heights

The historic Absecon Lighthouse is open late for the rest of the summer for stunning climbs. Visitors are invited to climb the stairs for views of the sunset until 8 pm (the last climb begins at 7:30 pm).

Sip Through South Jersey

Sip some wine and listen to live music under the stars while supporting SJ wineries. Plenty of local vineyards host live performances all summer long, so grab a glass and pull up a chair for a sweet summer night.

Explore the Universe

Take a trip into space without leaving your seat at Rowan University’s Jean and Ric Edelman Planetarium. Choose one of the out-of-this-world shows for an educational – or musical – adventure that will last all summer.
