Book Festival

October 5
Stroll more than six blocks of literary fun, featuring authors, workshops, booksellers and other bookish activities during the Collingswood Book Festival. The free festival runs from 10 am to 4 pm along Haddon Avenue. For more information, visit the website.


International Day

Take a trip around the world without leaving South Jersey as Camden County celebrates the area’s diversity. The day features live performances, a parade of flags, food samples and educational programs for the entire family. The free celebration runs from noon to 4 pm. Food & Music Festival

October 5
Wander the Wildwoods while visiting beer gardens, crafters and food vendors. Don’t forget to enter the pie eating contest and stop by the Kids Korner. The Wildwoods Food and Music Festival runs from 11 am to 8 pm along Atlantic Avenue. Event is free. For more information, visit the website.


Raptor Photography

October 6
Grab your camera and head to the Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge for a photo session with the refuge’s raptors. Trained staff will bring select birds out of the enclosures for up-close photographing. The program runs from 9 to 11 am and seating is limited. Cost is $50 for members and $60 for non-members. Advanced registration is required. For more information, visit the website.


Fall Festival

October 6
Welcome fall with hayrides, zip lining, pumpkin painting and plenty more family-friendly activities at the Katz JCC’s Fall Festival.
