Next month, Camden residents may see some show-stopping stars on their streets. Adam Sandler, Queen Latifah, Robert Duvall and Ben Foster are heading to South Jersey to film scenes for their Netflix movie, “Hustle.”

The movie, produced by Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions and LeBron James’ SpringHill Entertainment, is about a beaten-down basketball scout whose streak of bad luck may come to an end when he meets a young player who has the potential to make it to the NBA.

The majority of the film’s shooting has taken place in Philadelphia so far, but the New Jersey Commission of Motion Pictures convinced the team to take their talents over to our side of the bridge – even if only for a few scenes. It may even star some little-known local talent. Sandler put out a call for local basketball players to work as extras in the film.

The movie isn’t set to release until late 2021 or 2022, but in the meantime be sure to keep an eye out for the actors over the next few months.
