The countdown to Christmas is on, so Santa is making the rounds to hear what all the good boys and girls hope to find under their trees come December 25. Stop by one of these South Jersey breakfasts to enjoy a meal with the man in red.


RiverWinds Community Center

December 3
1000 RiverWinds Drive, West Deptford
Children will get an early peak at Christmas when they visit Santa and take home a gift from the North Pole. A clothing drive will also be held to support Operation Blessing. Breakfast is served from 8 am to noon. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $7 for seniors (55 and up) and children 2 to 10, and $30 for families (two adults and up to three children).


Ocean City

December 3 & 4; 10 & 11; 17 & 18
Santa is taking a tour of Ocean City so that he doesn’t miss any kids. Check the website for times and locations – they’re different each weekend.


Hamilton Mall

4403 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing
This isn’t a typical mall visit for Santa. Hit the food court for a breakfast prepared by the Academy of Culinary Arts from Atlantic Cape Community College and the chance to hang out with Santa and some of his friends. Breakfast begins at 8:30 am, and tickets cost $6.


Inn of Cape May

December 4 & 10
7 Ocean Street, Cape May
Bring your Christmas lists to the Inn of Cape May for a festive morning. Meet Santa and hear a story while you feast on breakfast. Tickets cost $17 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under. The event runs from 10 to 11:30 am.


The Mansion

December 10 & 17
3000 Main Street, Marlton
Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for a holiday buffet and the chance to snap a picture with the jolly couple. There are four seating times on both days from 9 to 10:30 am, and reservations are recommended. Breakfast costs $21 for adults, $16.95 for children ages 4 to 10 and $9.95 for children 3 and under.


Garden State Discovery Museum

December 10 & 11
2040 Springdale Road, Suite 100, Cherry Hill
Fill up on pancakes before telling Santa what you want this year at the Garden State Discovery Museum. Also enjoy some songs and stories to finish off a fun-packed morning. Choose from four seating times between 10 am to 1 pm. Tickets cost $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Reservations are recommended.


Battleship New Jersey

You’ll feel like one of the crew when you visit the big man aboard the battleship. Enter to win some prizes and explore the ship before meeting Santa. Breakfast begins at 9 am. Tickets cost $18 for kids under 12 and $24 for adults.


Farmington Volunteer Fire Company

301 Maple Avenue, Egg Harbor Township
All you can eat and a visit from Santa – can’t get much better than this. The Farmington Volunteer Fire Company’s annual breakfast with Santa runs from 8 am to noon. The buffet costs $7 for adults, $5 for kids and is free for children under 3.


Camden Children’s Garden

December 10 & 17
3 Riverside Drive, Camden
Eat in the garden and take home a holiday craft after taking a photo with Santa. Tickets include a complimentary ride on the carousel and train. Seating is available at 10 am or 12:30 pm. Tickets cost $10 for children 2 and under and $26 for adults and children 3 and up.


Fred & Ethel’s Lantern Light Tavern

December 10 & 17
1 North New York Road, Absecon
With Christmas right around the corner, take a trip to Historic Smithville to visit Santa. One seating at 9 am is available, and breakfast costs $13.95. Reservations are recommended.
