Dr. Young Lee’s fascination with medicine started early – when he was just 7 years old.

“I was just dreaming about becoming a physician at that time,” Dr. Lee says.

Born and raised in South Korea, Dr. Lee moved to the United States when he was 18. He completed a general surgery internship and won the Intern of the Year Award at Montefiore – Albert Einstein University Hospital in New York City. He then completed both an anesthesia residency and pain medicine fellowship program, earning the Outstanding Graduate Resident Award at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Lee has evaluated and treated countless patients who have suffered from a variety of debilitating diseases and disorders.

“So many patients’ lifestyles have been changed and their quality of life have been significantly improved at Relievus,” he says. “This motivates me – that I am able to improve their quality of life.”

According to Dr. Lee, Relievus is different from other pain management practices. “We are a team of doctors and professionals devoted to the art of pain management: Diagnosing, managing and treating chronic pain conditions and neurological disorders. We also aim to go beyond treatment of pain, to improve patients’ quality of life and productivity.”

As a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain specialist, Dr. Lee performs cutting-edge procedures that help alleviate pain. However, it all comes back to that personal touch that sets Dr. Lee apart .

In addition to his enthusiastic dedication to improving the lives of patients in South Jersey, Dr. Lee has also dedicated his free time into building free medical clinics in Haiti. Dr. Lee is not only a great physician, but he is also a wonderful human being with a warm heart.
