Virtua has introduced a 23-foot bus brimming with fresh fruits and veggies to bring to South Jersey families.

The Virtua Mobile Farmers’ Market now makes stops throughout Burlington and Camden counties every week (find the schedule here). Shoppers can choose their own seasonal, super-fresh produce provided by Whole Foods Market from local New Jersey and Pennsylvania farms, all priced at below-wholesale prices.

The goal is to reduce hunger and increase consumption of healthy food in SJ communities where access to fresh produce is limited. The initiative, which is first of its kind in the Delaware Valley and New Jersey, will benefit 6,000 South Jersey families in its first year.
