Poplar Avenue & the beach, Wildwood
This park was named one of the best in the country. You won’t miss it – just look for the 25-foot-high fire hydrant sculpture.
1500 East Brigantine Avenue, Brigantine
Dogs are allowed any time with a leash no longer than 6 feet.
1100 Moss Mill Road, Hammonton
This 2.5-acre park has a private Facebook group called “Meet Me at the Dog Park,” where pet owners will be notified when other dogs are heading to the park.
120 Lakeside Drive, Tuckerton
Leashed dogs are allowed in the park at any time.
45th and Haven Avenue, Ocean City
The off-leash dog park is open every day from dawn to dusk and features interactive play equipment, inoperable fire hydrants and more fun for your pup.
West 10th Street between Bayview Avenue and Central Avenue, Barnegat Light
Dogs can play unleashed at this park once owners have obtained a dog park gate entry card and dog park tag. Applications can be found here. The park is open from 8 am to 8 pm from April to October and 8 am to 5 pm from October to April.
North Park Drive & Cuthbert Boulevard, Cherry Hill
Stop at the dog fountain before you play in one of the fenced-in playgrounds that are designated for small or large dogs (the playgrounds even have provided toys).
1405 South Church Street, Mount Laurel
Let your pooch play in the dog runs that are separated by size, or take a walk with the leash through the parks’ many winding trails between sunrise and sunset.
Centennial Boulevard & Hermitage Drive, Voorhees
Two runs are available to separate small and large dogs, and owners can rest in the shade at picnic tables. The park is open from sunrise to sunset.
86 Union Street, Medford
This 20-acre doggy playground has see-saws, ladders and jump bars for your pup to play on and is open from sunrise to sunset. Make sure your pet is trained, because the area is not completely fenced, and bring water.
502 Sunset Boulevard, Cape May
There’s plenty to do at this dog spot, from the “Cape May diamonds” beach to the Sunset Beach Grill (with dog-friendly outdoor seating). Dogs must be on a leash at all time and are allowed from September 15 to April 15, 10 am to dusk.
Longport Dog Beach
Route 152 & Ocean Drive Bridge, Somers Point
This off-leash beach is open all year long, from sunrise to sunset.
1731 Chews Landing Road, Blackwood
Unleashed dogs are allowed in the 9 acres of fenced-in woodland with a private lake between 6 am and 10 pm all year long.
